The same way, you will find the "Lights and Mirrors" group. You will also find the SILVER parts group, including most of the details like logos, model letters, handles and more. Try to respect their thickness so you can bend them correctly over the model. This would be the second group of parts, the PLAIN parts.

Some of the parts, like glasses, window frames or other details have a curvy shape, but they are printed PLAIN. There is also something special in this design. The same way, printing these parts in the suggested possition will make them look more homogeneous, as the layers direction will be the same in these 3 big parts. Please, print these BIG parts in the suggested possition (the one when you import the part) and add the minimun necessary supports (normally in the lower zone only) to print them as fast, cheap and clean possible. These are the ones I have been re-working to offer you a good 2mm smoothed shell with the minimum needs of retractions and travels, leading into a cleaner 3D print of these parts. Those are the Front, Middle and Rear BIG parts. The first group includes the biggest parts. You will find the files into folders with the "group" name. The design is divided into some groups, which should help you understand it better. Those "Chassis Sides" files for OBTS and KIDS are included. Its Universal Holding System should allow you to mount this body or any other, commercial or not, adapting the wheelbase of the chassis from 250mm to 300mm in steps of 5mm.Īnyway, for both OBTS and KIDS chassis, you will find some Body side holders for the 295mm wheelbase of each chassis, which will allow you to mount the body without using the Universal Body Holding System and having no visible "holding parts" in your model. MyRCCar KIDS will allow you to use other RC car bodies in the future, without having to re-print parts for the chassis. You can use the OLD MyRCCar OBTS On-Road Chassis, specially the version created for this body, but now you can also use the NEW MyRCCar KIDS On-Road Chassis to put under this design. MaUpdate: The central big part has been divided into two new parts and now the whole body can be printed in a smaller than 200mm Z build volume It will be hard for you to find a chassis with this long wheelbase, so you can think about printing the chassis tooo :) This 1/10 RC car body is 200mm wide and has a 295mm wheelbase. Now I have learnt some new tools and process which allow me to share again this design but smoothed and without need of "tricks" to print it correctly. In fact, the photos and the video are of the "old model", which has not changed sustancially.

The design is from 2018 and I used a lowpoly free model as a source, but it was made with some "tricks" to short designing time. This is one of my first RC car shells, and the first for an On-Road car. Want to see this car in action?¿? Take a look to the video
